Publisher and contact
mitaimaorivillage.com is an independent guide covering the cultural experience at Mitai Māori Village in Rotorua, New Zealand, along with other things to do nearby. It is not the official website of Mitai Māori Village or of any other operator. It is not run by or connected to any iwi or marae, and the same goes for councils and tourist boards.

GetYourGuide and Viator partner programs
The links to GetYourGuide and Viator on this site are affiliate links. If you book a tour after clicking one, we earn a commission. Your price does not change. The commission has no influence on our ranking or on the catches we point out, and which of the two sites you book on makes no difference to us.
Bookings are made through GetYourGuide or Viator with the individual tour operator. The booking site and the operator handle payment and refunds, as well as any changes or cancellations. We do not. We are not a tour operator and do not sell tours. Nor are we affiliated with Mitai Māori Village or any other operator or attraction. The same goes for iwi and marae as well as tourist boards and government agencies.
Liability for content
Prices and ratings come from the listings on GetYourGuide and Viator. So do the inclusions and meeting points, along with the cancellation terms. We show the regular "from" prices in US dollars as approximate figures; the booking sites often show offers on top, the same tour can cost a different amount on each site, and review counts grow every day. We have not taken every tour ourselves. Because listings and prices change, only what the booking site shows in the booking step is binding. Despite careful research, we accept no liability for the accuracy or completeness of the content, nor for how current it is.
Our notes on Māori culture and customs summarize public information, as do our notes on history and food. Our advice on dietary needs and weather works the same way, and so does what we say about clothing and ages as well as accessibility. None of this replaces information from the operators or the authorities. Start times and opening hours change, and so do access arrangements; check with the operator before you rely on them.
Liability for links
This site links to third-party content. Most links point to GetYourGuide and Viator, and some to Wikipedia. Their content is the sole responsibility of their providers. At the time of linking, no legal violations were apparent. If we become aware of any, we will remove the link promptly.

Privacy
We do not set cookies for analytics or advertising and collect no data except the messages you send us. Which services still process data (the host and the booking sites, for example) is explained in our privacy policy.
